Heart Issues

If you had a safe person to confess to, what would you say? Someone who truly knows you and your behaviors. Not a single judgment, but someone who wants you to truly be your best self. Not someone who tells you to indulge, but rooted in your own presence in the present, and to hope and trust things will be alright. What would you say? Most of us live or have lived with shame, guilt, and low self-worth. True change only comes when we are transformed at our core - our heart level.

Perhaps, the reflection of our inner hearts shows itself in the physical within our home and our reflection. The trauma, burdens, and shame we carry that never belonged to us, but we carry. We desire someone to take it off of us. The transformation is available to all, but it starts with the willingness to build a new life to whatever extent is required for a real change. How far would you go? All efforts that do not begin by clearing the way for change will result in change that only occurs on the surface. If it is on the surface, we are impostors at war with ourselves. Real transformation starts from within. The deep darkness of our souls.

perhaps, the changes we desire is a cry for help. Any solution that does not transform the heart will ultimately frustrate or discourage us. We must have the humility to see the truth about ourselves and the humility to forgive those who hurt us.
