You Don’t Have to Hurry
There is a quiet pressure we carry.
To figure it out.
To move faster.
To become more.
We tell ourselves:
Soon.
Once this is done.
After I accomplish that.
But what if the urgency is optional?
What if you don’t have to rush into the next version of yourself?
Perhaps growth is not something you chase.
Perhaps it is something you allow.
Today, try this:
Slow your pace by just one step.
Speak a little softer.
Take one full breath before responding.
You are not behind.
You are becoming.
And becoming does not require hurry.
It requires presence.
Perhaps that is enough for today.
